MCW Calendar Events
MCW Calendar Events is an extension to the popular Month Calendar Widget, downloaded by over 4 million users on the Play Store. This app is designed to provide an easy way to manage calendar events for users of Month Calendar Widget. It is not meant to be a full-fledged calendar app, but rather focuses on simplicity and beauty.
To use the extension, simply download the app and make sure you have the latest version of Month Calendar Widget installed. Once installed, your MCW widget will be updated with marks signaling the dates that have events in your device calendar. If you don't see any marks, it may be because the system calendar is not accessible or has never been used. You can refer to the provided G+ post for more information.
The usage of MCW Calendar Events is straightforward. Tapping a date with a mark in MCW will display the events for that date inside the widget. Tapping a date without a mark will show an empty list of events, from where you can add a new event. From the events list, you can tap the plus sign to add an event for the selected date, which will open the new event screen of your default calendar app. You can also tap on an event in the list to view its details and make edits or deletions. To return to the calendar view, simply tap the back button.
The app requires the following permissions: READ CALENDAR and WRITE CALENDAR. The former is obviously needed to access your device's calendar, while the latter was added in versionto allow changing the visibility property of calendars.
